Art Museum Yoga

Imagine yourself in a beautiful gallery surrounded by time honored masterworks of art. The quietness of the space allows your mind to calm and thus see more clearly—drawing inspiration from both the artwork on the walls and the creativity that resides within you.

Brianna began imagining yoga classes in an art museum setting over ten years ago as an undergraduate at Boston University majoring in art history and taking yoga for the very first time. For her, the link between yoga and museums was clear: spaces designed to honor significant works of art lend themselves to deep reflection. Museums seemed explicitly suitable for quiet meditation.

As a healing-arts professional with an art history degree, Brianna's in-gallery yoga classes and workshops offer a unique way to experience and learn about art while enriching your yoga practice. Whether it is meditating with a 600 year-old Guanyin (Goddess of Compassion), or perfecting Warrior Three in front of Andy Warhol's The Last Supper, you are sure to leave refreshed, inspired, and enlightened.

Brianna is currently teaching in-gallery yoga classes and workshops at The Baltimore Museum of Art and has an upcoming workshop at deCordova Museum and Sculpture Park in Lincoln, Massachusetts..
